Leaside Lock
This shoot was booked as a standard local area shoot, looking for a weather window during October was never going to be easy, and time ran against us. As the local area shoot was not going to happen because of the weather, I was asked if I could attend a video shoot for the same job and shadow them during the day and capture whatever I could.
The forecast was not great and whilst the models & crew arrived around 8.30am it didn’t improve (stop raining) until 10.30 – it was forecast to improve throughout the day but was mostly overcast – so to improve the visuals I added a filter during the post processing to give the images an edgy look and feel and hide the dull, flat, overcast nature of the day.
Below is a selection of images in order as per the storyboard for the video. Which follows a young couple on a date, meeting at the tube station near the development and follows them sightseeing in the area, having coffee, lunch and finishing up at a local pub to finish the date – the rest of the date was not documented!
